Modular solutions: the most reliable protection.
The modular technology of the Mod5T and Mod5T E finds its key advantage in the optimization of its redundancy capacities. In fact, in the event of a shutdown or maintenance on one of the modules, the load is automatically and instantly distributed among the other available modules: the equipment therefore remains fully protected and supplied even with a single UPS! In addition, the dual power supply system (Dual Input) adapts perfectly to the needs of the most demanding configurations by allowing the configuration of a second emergency power source such as a generator.
A range with many advantages:
– Redundant protection (N + X) of the power supply with autonomy backup time
– Optimal performance
– Three-phase High Frequency On Line Double Conversion technology
– Flexible and scalable architectures
– Optimization of ownership costs (TCO)
– Intuitive management and configuration
– Low MTTR: easy and secure maintenance
– Compact size and small footprint
A RESPONSE TO THE MOST DEMANDING NEEDS
High efficacy and performance. The Mod5T and Mod5T E ranges bring together the best in UPSs in terms of rectifier, filtering, charger, UPS, DSP controller to ensure the best possible efficacy and performance. Mod5T ensures a high overall efficiency of 94.5% even at low load of 50% and an input harmonic distortion rate of less than 3%. The Mod5T and Mod5T E ranges are equipped with High Frequency On Line Double Conversion technology, which provides the best level of safety. The current is continuously delivered by the UPS, thus guaranteeing a constant voltage and a total absence of interference. The critical applications to be protected are therefore perfectly supplied because they are independent of grid power supply. The switching time is therefore zero, thus avoiding micro-cuts. N+X redundancy Modular UPSs represent the ideal solution for essential mission applications. Redundancy ensures optimal continuity of service: in the event of a fault in one of the power modules, the power supply is distributed to the other modules.
Static bypass and manual bypass
Its dual rectifier and separate bypass supply network is suitable for integration on sites operating with separate redundant supply systems with generators (such as hospitals, airports, stations, supermarkets, cold chains, etc.). Thus the critical load can be supplied by a second source supplying the bypass circuit in the event of failure of the main power source over a long period (see details in the specifications table).
Flexible and scalable solution.
– The Infosec modular range includes, on the one hand, the Mod5T UPS, a high-end solution for the most demanding installations and environments, and on the other, the Mod5T E UPS, a modular solution optimized for maximum performance/investment ratio. Scalable: Infosec modular UPSs allow configurations from 20 kVA to 300 kVA with power splitting into 20 kVA or 30 kVA modules (hot-swappablepable power modules).
– The modular range can be configured in parallel. By configuring two UPS in parallel, the power and redundancy of the solution is increased for a maximum level of safety. The parallel operation function is integrated as standard.
– Many back-up extension solutions are possible depending on the power and format of the UPS. The extension can be done: – either by adding battery modules in the existing cabinet – or by adding one or more additional external battery cabinets containing several battery modules.
THE ECONOMICAL SOLUTION
The Mod5T E range is available in a single 15U cabinet for 3 maximum power modules of 20 kVA or 30 kVA. It can be combined with a 14U cabinet dedicated to battery modules which can be attached below the main cabinet to form a compact 29U assembly.
